Paternayan Yarn

A new incarnation of the classic Paternayan yarn. The original Paternayan yarn company has recently been bought and they are reintroducing their full compliment of colors (the new Paternayan yarn manufacturer is Saco River Dyehouse). Over time we will carry all 415 colors. Paternayan is a persian wool yarn, this lustrous, sturdy woolen fiber is a great needlepoint yarn, excellent for rug making or repairs (sometimes known as Paternayan rug wool), embroidery (Crewelwork or Crewel embroidery), crossstitch, weaving and many other texile and fiber arts. Available in 1/4 lb hanks or 8 yard skeins.
