Paternayan Yarn, a 100% Persian virgin wool yarn for needlepoint. Color numbers 602 - 972.
A new incarnation of the classic Paternayan yarn produced by Saco River Dyehouse. Back from near extinction, the Paternayan persian yarn line has recently been bought and they are reintroducing their full compliment of colors. Over time we will carry all 415 colors. This lustrous, sturdy woolen yarn is great for needlepoint, rug making or repairs, weaving and other texile arts.
100% Virgin Wool is a fiber that is perfect for those felting projects you have been wanting to try out.

Paternayan wools are getting harder and harder to find and always the ones I need.
Yarn Barn came through for me so if I run out of a color ,I will check out Yarn Barn first. -

Yarn Barn is reasonable and very fast service. Received my order n two days. I have color chart with real yarn so easy for me to order, which I will do from now on for my needlepoint.
Called every Yarn shop n the Bay Area of San Francisco to no avail so went online and found Yarn Barn and it will be my source from now on. Thank you Yarn Barn. -
