A new incarnation of the classic Paternayan Persian yarn produced by Saco River Dyehouse. Back from near extinction Paternayan Yarn. This company has recently been bought and they are reintroducing their full compliment of colors, over time we will carry all 415 colors. This lustrous, sturdy woolen yarn is great for needlepoint, rug making or repairs, weaving and other textile arts.
100% Virgin Wool this yarn felts up beautifully.

I live in the country, many miles from any yarn shops. I am very thankful I can order and receive yarn via the mail. Paternayan yarn is a quality needlepoint yarn that I have used for many years. The yarn is beautiful but I needed to finish a project, so ordered the wrong yarn . Worked out fine.
