Swim Dad Cross Stitch Pattern PDF
Swim MOM isn't complete without Swim DAD. We are the proud parents of a little fish!
Kid with a lot of energy but focus and determination in the water. I’m sure a lot of parents of swimmers can relate.
This cross stitch pattern uses 2 colors, has a stitch count of approximately 1912, and dimensions of 80 x 72 stitches.
It measures approximately:
5" x 4.5" - 16ct
I used three quarter stitch to help define the swimmer in mid free-style stroke. The three-quarter stitch is composed of a half stitch and a quarter stitch. Three-quarter stitches are used to create more detail in Cross Stitch designs. This one can be a bit tricky to start out with. It takes some practice but I know you can do it. It is also used as an outline stitch to make curves. You will see this stitch a lot in patterns that need smoother rounder edges like faces and spirals for flowers and round object. It adds depth to our project and ensure that the piece does not look blocked.
This design can be done in other counts. Contact me if you prefer a different size.
You get a PDF document of the cross stitch pattern. You'll need a PDF viewer to view it
