June class schedule is up!
Tuesday Knit Nights!
Is still going strong and better than ever. I look forward to Tuesday nights. Everyone is truly welcome to join us, needlepointers, crochet or knitting. We have such a great time, it's cheaper than therapy and lots of fun too.
I am also pleased to announce the presence of the San Antonio Needlework Guild they are now holding a monthly Community Outreach Stitch-In, 10:00am- 3:00pm 2nd Wednesday of the month. Next Stitch-Ins: July 9th and August 13th
You asked for it and we finally did it.
Needlepoint 101 - Patricia Allison July 12, 2014 11am - 1pm It will be a two hour session that will take you through five different stitches. Worked on large canvas so it will be visible and easy to follow. This two hour session will be $35 with supplies included in the cost. Please call and sign up, space is limited. Beginning Crochet - Jenn Allison Saturday July 12, 2014 2:00pm - 4:00pm Two hours, $30 class Supplies not included for this one. Make a sweet little project bag. Learn how to knit in the round and she will also demonstrate the basic stitches of crochet. I'm really excited about this class. Hope you all can come and join us. What's New?!? New to the shop is Cascade's Tangier 50% Silk / 16% Cotton 17% Rayon /17% Acrylic in beautiful long color runs. Forest Hills 51 % Silk / 49% Merino Wool 785 yards of gorgeous lace weight.
Berroco's Comfort in 32 colors, it is an easy care, super-fine Acrylic and Super-fine Nylon, spun into a luxury twist. I kid you not it is some of the softest stuff you will ever touch. We love it. Special Hours for the Summer : July 4th -- 10am - 2pm (Open half day) Observing Summer hours from Sunday July 6th to Sunday August 31st Now closing Sundays for the summer. All hours stay the same. |
